Snowdrop Room

At this age, the word ‘why,’ is the one we hear the most, and our staff will be on hand to help them find the answers. This group will be learning to branch out on their own, so we aim to provide them with a path to follow to help them become more independent.

We encourage them to learn to share and each child’s development will be monitored by their ‘key person’ who they can turn to for help and support whenever they need it.

Staff Team

My name is Fanda Thabet and I will be your child’s key worker.

I am an Early Years Practitioner in Snowdrop Room. I joined Auckland Team in October 2017. I am a level 2 qualified Early Years Practitioner and have over 5 years’ experience in working in a nursery. I am currently working towards my Level 3 in Childcare.

I enjoy sport activities, in particular swimming. I speak English and Arabic. I have recently got married and I look forward to starting my own family. I enjoy working with children and seeing them develop throughout the different stages.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the Daisy Room. It is my responsibility as a key person to meet the needs of each individual child and respond sensitively to his/her feelings, ideas and behaviour. As your child’s key person I am also responsible for maintaining proper records of the child’s development and share these with you as a parent/guardian on a regular basis to ensure that your child is being appropriately cared for.

I’d love to hear about everything your child has been doing at home and the things they are particularly interested in. If you have any questions, concerns and ideas please let me know.

My name is Leanne Waugh and I will be your child’s key person. I am an Early Years Practitioner in Snowdrop Room.

I grew up in Alfreton, Derbyshire where I started my journey in childcare by completing my Level 2 Apprenticeship in the Children and Young Peoples Workforce.  Once I’d completed my Level 3 Apprenticeship we decided to move to Liverpool for a new start.

When I moved to Liverpool,  I joined the Auckland House Team in October 2019. I’m very happy to be part of the team and I hope I’m able to create strong and lasting relationships with yourselves and your children.
