Bluebell and Daisy Rooms

This is the stage where your little darling will be into everything and is often seen as the most boisterous and mobile phase of your child’s development. As a result, their dexterity and language skills will be getting more defined, so to aid this we have created a space that is big enough to develop their physical strength and sense of space. They will be encouraged to stretch their minds by exploring the world around them and have a good run around too.

The development of the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is embedded in the planning and the implementation of learning through play within the room.  The children are beginning to make informed choices about which resources they want to use.  Independent child led learning opportunities are encouraged in addition to adult supported structured activities ensure your child can investigate their chosen activities.

Bluebell Room Staff Team

My name is Kim Hall and I will be your child’s key person.

I am an Early Years Practitioner in Bluebell Room. I am a fully qualified practitioner. I have a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Learning and Development. I joined Auckland House team in May 2010 and really enjoy working with the children.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, family and friends.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the Bluebell Room. It is my responsibility as a key person to meet the needs of each individual child and respond sensitively to his/her feelings, ideas and behaviour. As your child’s key person I am also responsible for maintaining proper records of the child’s development and share these with you as a parent/guardian on a regular basis to ensure that your child is being appropriately cared for.

I’d love to hear about everything your child has been doing at home and the things they are particularly interested in. If you have any questions, concerns and ideas please let me know.
